Accomodation |

Choice of accommodation can often make or break a trip. Let us help you - or your Travel Agent - chose the type that will suit your own particular likes and dislikes. Whether you want to stay in a Castle, Hotel, Inn, Private home, Guest House, Bed & Breakfast or charming old Inn; believe me, after over twenty five years we have a pretty good idea of the good ones! A few of our favourites? Duns Castle, in the Scottish Borders, is perfect and has been in the same family for generations. Chewton Glen in the South of England, and Gleneagles in Scotland, are unbeatable as Resort Hotels. Langshott Manor Hotel, just a few miles from Gatwick Airport, is a little known and perfect Elizabethan gem. Both the Park Hotel in Killarney (and, yes, I know about the K Club); and the Bayview Hotel in Ballcotton, Co. Cork, are two of Ireland’s very best. A favourite small hotel? - try the Kennard, in Bath. Private homes? You might chose to stay in one of ˜Wolsey Lodges” - "where guests are made welcome as friends", or one of the small handful of really special aristocratic homes that we have come to know over the years. How about an old and charming Inn? You would find it hard to beat the Lamb Inn, Burford, in the Cotswolds. Or Guest Hoses and B & B? - in the North of Ireland - Ballycarton House, just outside Limavady (ideal for Royal Portrush Golf); and in the South of Ireland - Dun Ri Guest House, Clifden in Connemara, and Killarney Lodge in Killarney. Somewhere unusual? The Old Railway Station, near Petworth in the South of England is a magical spot. Stay either in the Station itself, or in one of the two superbly renovated Pulman Railway carriages. As I said, these are just a few of our favourites. We have more, depending on where you want to stay, how much you want to spend, and whether you want to ‘meet the localsâ€! All you have to do is ask. |
